| Founders Ernie Brassard (Carnelian Bay, Ca.), Bob Pearson (Arrow Surfboards Santa Cruz,Ca.), Rick Thomas (San Diego, Ca.) & Phil Segal (Tahoe Paddle & Oar - Kings Beach) Ta-Hoe Nalu LLC is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting & expanding Stand-Up Paddling everywhere by putting on fun stand up events that give back to the community. Since our Hawaiian brothers invented the sport we now take it to a different level to in-land places. There are no waterways, lakes and rivers that we can't explore with our SUP's. We are interested in your SUP adventures Send us photo's and stories, we will post them. If your planning a SUP event we will post it and link to your event. | Results The 2nd Annual ta-hoe nalu at North Lake Tahoe August 16th, 2008 was an amazing success. We had 106 participants in this years 7 mile paddle. 52 were from the lake Tahoe Area. Last year of the 33 participants we had 8 from the Tahoe area. The surge growth and interest in the sport is mind numbing. There were 21 women in the group. The Ages of the participants was 11 to 73.
